So why do we procrastinate and not move forward with a project we have thought about for so long? Why is that craft project still only half finished, or the motorcycle in need of repair still sitting in the garage? Why is that gardening bed still without new vegetable plants and why is the short story we were so excited about still sitting on the computer, waiting for the 2nd chapter.
Either we don't care for the project we are working on as much as we thought we would or we think there is too much to do and we just don't get around to it. Or, are we afraid of failure?
Since there is no cure (or pill) for procrastination, there is only one remedy. Be a doer not a talker! We must get moving and do the things we said we would do. One by one, we can check the items off the list. And remember, we don't have to do something we don't enjoy, there is always the choice of changing our mind and focus on something that brings us joy. But mostly, if fear is involved, remember we cannot fail; we can only learn and gain precious experience!
By becoming a channel of the Universal Mind, creativeness and energy will flow through us easily once we have opened ourselves up to this cosmic power, instead of blocking our natural creativity by doubting our abilities.
Key steps: First, identify the thing you love and want to accomplish. Secondly, know that you are able to create your desire because you are cause, and lastly, open yourself up with faith and trust to receive all the good available to you.
