When problems arise...

We all have to deal with problems every so often. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but they will show up and challenge us to make choices or at least keep us on our toes.

How do you solve your personal problems? Acknowledge them, reason them out, handle them, or just hide? I know hiding them or shoving them under the rug never worked for me. They must be addressed, like it or not.

Any situation can be handled if we are willing to take the time and carefully apply right and positive thought. In a matter of fact, it takes a lot of energy to stay negative. So why not turn it around and transform each challenge into an opportunity to grow and evolve. How can we achieve this?

Watch your inner melodrama; it’s like watching a movie. Be the observer, stay out of it—don’t get lost in it. Just observe. By getting involved in your own movie, you allow yourself to become emotional and fuzzy. Only detachment will keep the mind clear.
Difficult you say? Well, we have a choice. We can either wallow in emotional pain and drama, not making any progress in solving the problem, or we can buckle up and make a concerted effort to resolve our feelings, clear our mind of negativity by turning it around to see only the good, and we can reassure ourselves that all is already good and work from that standpoint.

I, for one, like peace of mind and feeling that I make a difference…and this is achieved by not backing down when problems arise, but instead by acknowledging what needs to be fixed. Then I address the issues one by one with love in my heart.
Let’s get to work!
