We don’t have to beat ourselves up when we make a mistake. Self-condemnation is destructive. We are an integral part of the all power, perfect, and good, and our mistakes are only our temporary lesser sense of ourselves. None of us has unfolded all there is to know and all there is to experience. Making mistakes is part of the natural progress, part of our unfolding process. Simply forgive yourself, and start again.
Each day is a new day. Thankfully, we can correct each thought as it comes, and as soon as we catch the mistaken thought or idea we can make the correction. All we have to do is to change our attitude and we can stop being afraid, worrying, and fretting.
When you find yourself thinking a lesser thought, go immediately to the opposite, to the right idea. Don’t focus on getting rid of something you don’t want any more or on some character trait you need to improve. Instead focus on what you want. If you take your attention away from what you don’t want, it will automatically disappear. When you focus on what you do want, it will certainly manifest.
We must ensure there are no leftover, old habits and negative thoughts in our subconscious, or they will reappear at any given moment for us to re-examine, solve, and correct. We can be certain that if we let go of our sense of the outgrown habit or negativity, it will disappear. The theory is “out of sight, out of mind” - or, “out of cause, out of effect”.
Remember, never judge by appearances. What we see in this world is only a movie, a mirage, a dream. We are the source of our life experiences. So again, we must let go of the things we don’t want. Life always moves forward. We can’t go back in time, we must move forward; this is the Law of Progress in Unfoldment.
