Pain is a signal that we have been on the wrong path, maybe made a mistake, or didn’t take care of our needs. It shows us that we need to make corrections, physically or mentally. The fear associated with pain must be stilled before we can think clearly and reasonably.
Therefore, I ask with all sincerity: May the lesson be revealed to me. May I become stronger, and may I learn from this experience - and then I move on with joyful expectations of better days to come. There is always light coming our way, after a period of darkness. It’s like the dawn following the night…waking up to a new and glorious day.
When fear creeps up, we must remember that all is already good. I pull myself into the NOW and remember that worrying and being afraid never solved any problem.
What we must do, however, is to take a step back and acknowledge the existence of the Allness of Good. Always keep hope alive, look at what’s in front of you and know that you can handle anything, because it’s just a test, ready to be tackled. And let me assure you that one day we will see this truth: There never was anything to fear in the first place. It was already good all along!
