We constantly make choices. Good or bad, happy or sad, we pick what thoughts we want to think and what road to take. We are responsible for our convictions at the moment. We are in charge of not only our thoughts, but also our feelings and that is the tricky part. Feeling good is just as important than thinking good thoughts.
We say, ‘I don’t know what choice to make’ or ‘I don’t know what choice I have’. But even doing nothing, or not acting on something we should be doing, is a choice. Feeling good is a choice. Being miserable is a choice.
So, what can we do to ensure we are making good and healthy choices?
If we dig deep down and listen to ourselves, we will realize that the answers to make the right choices are already there, deep inside of us. They are available to us and ready for us to grasp and apply at any given moment. All we have to do is ask ourselves: Is this choice good for me and everyone concerned, is it loving, is it kind? Does it help my spiritual unfoldment, does it help others, and does it make me happy and fulfilled?
If the answer to all of these questions is ‘yes’ you are on the right path. Be aware of the choices you make and the consequences following your decisions. We must at least make the effort to be good and do good, to think good and feel good. We are in the driver’s seat!
