We’re talking today about spirituality, not religion. A spirituality which connects us with our awareness, inner calm, strength and faith. Faith in the Allness of Good.
So we must ask ourselves: am I hungry for more spiritual food? Or, am I content with the daily fast-food I am providing for myself? Am I content with chewing down some lesser than good thoughts or do I want to be a gourmet diner, and feast from the delicacies of true Spirit only. This banquet of healthy nourishment is already waiting for us, ready to be served.
If we stay closed with fear and doubt, we will never grow spiritually. All of our thought patterns and characteristics will continue the same. We will continue to just stuff ourselves with what’s easy to grab, without thought and foresight, but if we want to grow and unfold our understanding, we must muster up courage and be receptive to all possibilities. We must push our imagination; push our boundaries and capabilities. Allowing our creativity to shine from within and choose the best mental attitude is what will keep us well-nourished and healthy. Right thoughts and feelings are the right spiritual food we shall eat from now on.
