Morning thoughts: Lost for words

As I am getting ready to write my Wednesday Blog, I must admit, after nearly 10 years of writing inspirational materials, five books on the subject, weekly blogs, uplifting quotes – all carefully thought-through words and ideas in which I honestly believe in – I am lost for words.

To what is happening right now all over the US, our beautiful beloved America, is unimaginably unamerican. I am having a difficult time to contain my anger and disappointment, my disbelief that so many people on both sides can act in this violent way, watching the looting and crime going on instead of contacting a peaceful, goal-oriented protest, and people spreading hatred instead of love just because of the color of someone’s skin. Agitators amongst peaceful messengers, designed to keep us divided amongst ourselves.

But more than that, watching a so-called president doing everything in his power to destroy our democracy and peace; not to mention the supporters of his behavior, standing in the shadow of evil, voiceless.

Feeling like this, is so not ‘me’ and I work on daily thought corrections and on keeping the Faith. I truly believe that there are more good people than bad. No one is inherently bad, it’s all about misinformation and education in my eyes.

Faith has been a big part of me for a long time. Not faith in some religious organization or person, but Faith in the Allness of Good.

Knowing that in reality – yes, I know it surely doesn’t look like that right now – all is good. Good is God and cannot be changed. What we see is the ignorance and selfishness of humankind. We must act God-like (good-like) with humility and respect. Again, not respect for an organization or person, but to the Almighty Universal Power that sustains all. We must see and heal the world, this glorious place that has been given to us, which we must cherish.

We can be strong without intimidating others. We can show love without appearing weak. We can support without taking. We can help without enabling the other, but teach and nurture, and lift them up!

Our hearts will be smiling when doing good, because doing good nurtures and heals our Souls, it will heal the nation. Long live the Allness of Good!
