Feelings gone wrong

Some people think that over-sensitivities are feelings. Unfortunately, most feelings felt, the ones that we experience the most in our daily doings, are wrong and detrimental to our Soul. They add to the already present negativity, as most go immediately to the ‘glass half empty’ rather than the ‘glass half full’. Why is that? Let’s explore.

Feeling unloved, lonely, not good enough, helpless, insecure, embarrassed, discouraged, overwhelmed, anxious, powerless, victimized, fearful, panicked, tired and worn out, unwell and sickly, weak, distraught, jealous, envious, hateful, poor or lacking, never having enough, and less than, are just starting points of a more complex and intricate mental framework. Take a look at each of the above words and their meanings and add the corrective affirmation.

Feelings are not as easily corrected as your thoughts. Thoughts pertain to your reasoning ability. Anyone making a sincere effort to better themselves, and with a reasonable amount of willingness to reason correctly, will agree to what is right and what is wrong thinking.

But ‘feeling’ is a whole other matter in itself. We feel intuitively without thought. We go right to a certain emotion established over a long period of time. A certain occasion will trigger a feeling within you, liking it or not.

Practice to ‘feel yourself’, your body and your vibration, and do this mentally without touch. Close your eyes in a quiet environment and just lie there comfortably, and feel. When your thoughts start racing and jumping to all kinds of other subjects, pull yourself back and center on the feeling part of you; experience ‘feeling’.

With honesty and sincerity, go to the root problem. It will ‘feel’ like a battle, but like all ‘fights’ of life you can win. Let’s be more specific and address each and every one of these culprits…
