These mental seeds were planted into our mental soil by us. We, unknowingly or not, have stored what we believed to be true and made it our reality. We continue to do this every single day and most days we are not particularly careful of what kind of thoughts we think. We just mosey on throughout the day, wandering off the path of right thinking and hastily decide what to do next.
All mental seeds, which turn into our personal convictions, will grow and multiply and come to fruition if dwelled upon and nurtured. Good or bad, this process does not differentiate, it only follows the direction given by our subconscious, which is comprised of that which we are convinced of.
We are the gardeners, the caretakers, of our daily experiences and therefore, we must allow only the good and the beautiful thought-seeds to bloom. We must pull the weeds, our old and negative thoughts, one by one.
Always remember, our minds have the capacity to reason (which is our thinking process between right and wrong) and the capacity to feel (Ask yourself: “is it good for you and all concerned?”). Both, right thinking and good feeling, must be in sync in order to produce a positive experience.
So, the question “How do I feel today?” should be carefully examined and answered honestly. Right feeling, or love, is the mother of all creation and appreciation is the treasure chest of the heart.
