Do you feel stuck and repeating the same old patterns in your daily life? Maybe you are comfortable in your safe zone, don’t want to rattle the cages or upset the routines you’ve established.

I like change very much. Even though I have my regular practices and daily habits, I also make sure that I am inspired daily by being eager to learn and explore (I admit mostly about mental concepts).

Why not spice up our lives with some fresh, new ideas. Why be stuck with the old and outgrown? Why not tackle that one thing that has been on the list for too long?

We all have imagination, we have desires, we have unfulfilled dreams, and we have the power to create. Yes, we can make it happen.

Therefore, let us be open-minded. Let us focus and remove fear and doubt. Let us, instead, embrace the new and the unusual, the exciting vision, the long-lost dream. Let us grasp our inner power by believing in our true selves.

You will be surprised at how much more interesting life becomes!

Thoughts about "Self"

Presenting myself with some thoughts about self this morning. Have you ever contemplated that your self-image, what and who you think you are in this world, including your personal appearance, is only a reflection of your ego; a mirror image of your thoughts and feelings?

Continuing this line of thought, I realized some time ago that this mirror image is not my true self. My true self is Spirit. Invisible, yet everlasting, powerful, causative, and connected to Source.
Our individual Spirit is pure, loving, intelligent, formless, without race, color, and gender. We are ‘all of this’ not just one thing or another. It is important to realize this, because it will truly make us equal and see the oneness of all.

We must not sell ourselves short by thinking we are something lesser than perfection. I’m not saying this to aggrandize but to point out the potential we all possess. Do we always act perfect?  – no! Of course not. But at least we are working toward this goal once we realize our true substance.

I am certain that a great synchronized plan is in store for each of us, shapeable by our desires and its fulfillment through right thought, supported by the Universe’s perfect plan.
Now is the time to move forward and soar. We must become that beautiful butterfly and appreciate ourselves, our neighbors and our Universe. Let us be the best we can be, because Love trumps hate. Love always wins. Love is the substance called God. Thoughts?

Reacting to people or events

Haven’t we all reacted to people’s harsh or mean comments? A sneaky remark that was directed intentionally toward your heart, or maybe just a thoughtless commentary from someone who didn’t think twice about the effect it would have on the receivers mental state?

When being upset about someone’s unkind, negative or critical words, we must understand that no one can really hurt or offend us. The hurt feelings experienced will only be as stingy and cruel as we allow it to be. There is no need to react, respond, and defend ourselves. We know who we are; we know that we are good and kind, so why bother and respond?

Did you know, that negativity, per the dictionary, is ‘a quality characterized by a person who is habitually skeptical, tends to deny, oppose, or resist suggestions or commands.’ Negativity is life-denying.

Positivity, per the dictionary, is ‘a quality characterized by a person who is displaying certainty, acceptance, affirmation, positive answers, confidence, and positive reinforcement.’ Positivity is life-giving.

So why do we still react to someone’s opinion, criticism or intentional hurtful comments?  It will only suck us into a vortex of negativity. Let us practice to stay in the ‘light’, the uplifting, life giving and confident (that all is good) state of mind!
