Visions and Dreams

Do you think about your visions and dreams? Do you make a conscious effort to achieve your desires?

Take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and
really, really think about your visions and dreams. Have you fulfilled your childhood aspirations? Have you mastered some of your teenage ambitions, or have you even come close to your adult goals?

What are those dreams?

Your minds activity includes desire. Desire is the active spark that presses for expression as part of your natural thinking process. Your mental picture is the blueprint of your experience, good or bad, and this vision will become this experience.

Consciousness always assumes a form in the visible; it automatically manifests
its convictions and beliefs. There is only one Mind, one Consciousness. You are
Mind, you are Consciousness – you can think. You are aware of your being, you
know that you ‘are’, and your sense of self is what is expressed in the form you
call YOU.

Many people just exist, they are not fully living. They react to outer circumstances, rather than acting in accordance to their God-given power of self-management. Instinctively they reach for a higher goal, a more refined being, but many do not succeed. Only when attuned with the mental force that controls the Universe will they be able to change their destiny, and perform the work that needs to be done.

The physical world is merely a reflection of the mental world; it’s not the other way around. Unfortunately the reflection is a mostly imperfect one, as the thoughts produced by us are imperfect as well. Like attracts like, and our thoughts are causative and create everything we hear, see, touch, taste and smell, and most of all they create everything we experience. It is the Law – it cannot be changed.

The mere fact that you can say “I”, “Me”, “My” and recognize the meaning of those words show proof of your awareness of self. This one and only consciousness that is within you, and all of us, is the great sea of the Universe and you are part, a particle, of this great mass – a drop in the Universal Ocean.

We, our true substance, are not a changing ‘thing’. We are constant, limitless, powerful, and already perfect. What is changing is our understanding of SELF. Through this change of our understanding, with its triumphs and tribulations, we change the reflection to either good or bad. However, the inevitable growth and self-unfoldment we eventually will experience will reflect the glorious calm and happiness that comes with this understanding.

In order to fulfill our visions and dreams we have to shed the bondage of the ego and leave the restrictions of conformity behind. Ego will always think that we are greater than others and less than we truly are. Ego does not understand the great Truth of our innate heritage of perfection, nor the fact that we are all made of the same substance, imbued with the same Understanding. The only distinction is, and therefore the seeming
difference in life experience: we are on different levels of understanding in our quest for unfoldment. But there is within us a power of complete liberation, an ability to rectify our sins. As long as we live and think a certain way, we will continue to do so without progress, however, when once we use this power we are freely given, our visions and dreams will be fulfilled – but remember, only that which takes root in our minds can become fact. It all rests within us.

So cast off all limitations of the ego and improve the quality of your thoughts, because what we accept as a permanent mental image, or fact, must manifest in this world.

Can you see the importance? Can you understand that your life has been shaped by your convictions, and you are actually living your visions and dreams right now? If you don’t like the picture you see, know that you can change it – make it your priority. Set goals, dream big, and know that you can achieve anything you set your mind to, because your mind is the most powerful tool you have. Enjoy!

Harmony - the mental meaning

Out of curiosity I looked up the word ‘harmony’ in the dictionary, Wikipedia, and researched on-line to see if other people wrote articles about ’harmony’; and I’m not talking about singing. Basically, all I found was: nothing. Sad but true, ‘harmony’ - a mental state of being - isn’t discussed very much in our society, even though it is identical to ‘happiness’, which all mankind strive for.

‘Harmony is the principle underlying all life’

Think about this statement. The Universe is working
perfectly and harmoniously at all times. The planets are moving flawlessly, the plant life grows and flourishes without our help, babies are born every second, and life in general keeps flowing per the great plan of Universal Consciousness.

When left alone and undisturbed, life lives and progresses picture-perfect.
The quote, however, also means that any non-harmonious thought is without merit. Webster-Merriam describes the word harmony as ‘internal calm: tranquility’, which unfortunately was the only description that can be used to explain the mental sense of the word ‘harmony’. All other examples were related to music or art. Are we really so absorbed with our material sense of things that we haven’t even thought about the true meaning of simple, yet powerful, words like ‘harmony’?

What are harmonious thoughts?

Ease, calm, comfort, in sync with nature, in tune with love, pleasant visions, inspiration, relaxed, and a healthy outlook in life to name a few. Harmony does not allow any disturbance whatsoever. It is ‘internal calm’, a genuine knowing that all is good, that you are indestructible, and that you are in charge of your life. ‘You are the arbiter of your own faith’, as declared by many of the metaphysical writers around the early 1900’s.

Are you setting time aside for your daily thought exercises?

I hear most people say ‘I’m just too busy with my daily work, or chores’, ‘I just don’t have the energy at the end of the day’ and so on. They move on with the same routine, rather taking the unpleasant experiences from their in-harmonious thinking and acting.
They don’t want to think about ‘working’ on their own self-development and growth. It feels like just another ‘thing to do’. Have you any idea on how much better your life would be if you would just spend 15 minutes a day to contemplate the Truths of life?

How does in-harmony affect your body?

This disturbed mindset influences your overall health in many ways.  Hurry, worry, contribute to tenseness in the neck areas, stomach troubles, and of course many accidents happen while rushing, or being absorbed in your own nervous energy.

As someone who has observed mental healing for many, many years, I can attest to the fact, that the bone structure of the body represents this mental ‘harmony’. When you experience aching bones, or even worse broken bones, you can be sure that your mental ‘harmony’ was disturbed or broken. This is not the forum to go into more detail about metaphysical diagnosis, however, start looking at your mental ‘harmony’, your loving thoughts for life itself, and learn how to better your daily experience by the simple
mantra: ‘Harmony is the principle underlying all life’.
