This inner voice is your reasoning ability. It will debate between the options you have. Is it right or is it wrong? Will I succeed or will I fail? Your reason will work all day long, it is your constant companion and therefore, start choosing the positive side only.
If you don’t like the experience you have, or despise the visible picture you see, change your sense about it. Changing your sense about it, also means changing your inner speech. You can retrain your mind, your thoughts, your voice, to instantly seek the right and good side of all. It’s that simple.
Carefully watch your inner melodrama, your thoughts and also (important) your feelings; it’s like watching a movie. Be the observer, stay out of it—don’t get lost in it. Just observe. By getting involved in your own daily-life movie, you allow yourself to become emotional and fuzzy. It sucks you into the vortex of negativity. We don’t want that to happen!
Only detachment and neutrality will keep your mind clear. Remember that your ‘sense of’ is your awareness of what you believe to be true. It doesn’t mean it is true. But this ‘sense of’ is also the light within you when applied correctly. Think about this idea: if you do not especially ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ anything, it will make everything evenly enjoyable. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
