Our sense of Aging

The sense of 'aging' is one of the deepest and most ingrained beliefs we carry and one of the most difficult senses to heal and correct. Aging seems real. We can see it, we can feel it – yet, it’s an illusion if you think of your life as an endless, wonderful, unlimited journey.

While we remain on this physical plane or dimension, we must ask ourselves: How can I achieve a more youthful attitude? How can I continue to be the best I can be? How can I contribute to a healthy life? How can I stay active and be a vital part of society?

The truth is, age is nothing but a sense of time passing, a picture of mind maturing, and should be enjoyed and cherished. See yourself as wiser and more complete, strong and advanced, making better choices.

Don't wait until you're sixty, seventy, or eighty to ask about the meaning of life. Ask now and act on it. The application of new, fresh thoughts, a better mental attitude, and a love for life is vital to keep you young at heart. Your mind, spirit, lives forever, it is the important part of you! It is the important part of all of us! Be well!
With Love, ULRIKE

Trying to “fix” others

My daily routine includes observing my thoughts and feelings, positive or negative, and trying to correct the undesirable, sometimes destructive ones; the thoughts that spin you into the darkness of pessimism. Instead, I am determined to keep my thinking without criticism of myself and others. It’s certainly a daily mental workout!

Cleaning out our mental chambers from wrong thoughts and feelings should keep us busy enough. There is no need to try to “fix” others, even close friends or relatives. Even though our intentions are good and all we want is to be helpful, we must allow them to find their own way, their own path. They will get there in their proper time. Forcing our help upon them will enable them, or hinder them, in their unfoldment. We only can support and love them and must resist the temptation of getting involved in their affairs.

Because the Law of Individuality is always in action, we are only responsible for our own mental house cleaning. Like everything else in life, right thinking (thoughts according to Universal Laws) and positive thinking (thoughts that are full of hope, faith, love, and life) must be practiced and new ideas must be tested by each and every one of us. When applied correctly, the results will be health, wealth, and happiness – and of course this positive, life giving attitude will spread to our loved ones and help them on their journey.

What growth do we encounter through the experience of pain?

What growth do we encounter through the experience of pain, be it physical or emotional? Can we become grateful for our pains? What do they teach us? Do we see the lesson?

Pain is a signal that we have been on the wrong path, maybe made a mistake, or didn’t take care of our needs. It shows us that we need to make corrections, physically or mentally. The fear associated with pain must be stilled before we can think clearly and reasonably.

Therefore, I ask with all sincerity: May the lesson be revealed to me. May I become stronger, and may I learn from this experience - and then I move on with joyful expectations of better days to come. There is always light coming our way, after a period of darkness. It’s like the dawn following the night…waking up to a new and glorious day.

When fear creeps up, we must remember that all is already good. I pull myself into the NOW and remember that worrying and being afraid never solved any problem.

What we must do, however, is to take a step back and acknowledge the existence of the Allness of Good.  Always keep hope alive, look at what’s in front of you and know that you can handle anything, because it’s just a test, ready to be tackled. And let me assure you that one day we will see this truth: There never was anything to fear in the first place. It was already good all along!
