What I call “the hamster” is in all of our minds. The wheel is constantly spinning, and it seems that we are running forever in the same place.

Like most of us, do you feel you never have time for everything you want to do? Are you overloading yourself with all kinds of errands and responsibilities that might not be necessary? Is your job fulfilling? Is it challenging? Do you feel happy or stressed on a daily basis? Are you over doing it? Or on the opposite side of the spectrum, are you a shiftless procrastinator?

In a perfect world, everyone has the perfect job, a job they love and happily go to every morning. In this desirable world, one wouldn’t have a profession or career that’s boring or unappealing.

If our occupation is work that we love, the QUALITY of the work naturally will improve because it is done by us with interest and care. When we come home to our loved ones after a day’s work, we’d be happy to see them. We’d be satisfied with our accomplishments at work and have a smile on our face. Our family would be grateful for our pleasant attitude and the quality of our family life would improve also.

So, the answer to the question on how to cope with a hectic schedule in the physical work place is this: Love what you do. Embrace challenges and tests. Reach out to your co-workers with compassion and care. Slow down your day by knowing that all will be done in good time. There is no “I have to”, only an “I want to” or “I’d love to”, in this loving Universe of ours.

Life is a circle, and everything is interlocked and works naturally if we just let the Law of Life work.
